I’m a sucker for a whiskey cocktail but this was a great twist on a classic. The usual Manhattan suspects – sweet vermouth,orange bitters, maraschino cherry – mixed with Ten To One dark rum in place of a rye – delicious!

Made a few of these with friends while experimenting with Ten To One Dark. Would sip these all night – really good! Aromatic on the nose the tropical spirit really shines through and makes for a compelling change to your traditional Manhattan!

I’ve been a bartender for 15 years and my test for a rum is always a Daiquiri test. Then once it passes that, it has to be amazing in a Hemingway Daiquiri. Man, Ten To One White is probably the best Hemingway Daiq I’ve ever had. As soon as it becomes available in Boston, this will be my bar’s go-to rum.

I love rye manhattans and It never occurred to me to try it with Rum. I love drinking Ten To One Dark in Old Fashioneds, but I do not know why I haven’t tried it in a Manhattan. I am glad I did. This is so delicious. I will be drinking rum manhattans going forward.

I’ve had Rye Manhattans before but never Rum Manhattans! I love Ten To One Dark and never put the thought together to put it in a Manhattan. This is such a fantastic pairing. I think Rum Manhattans will be my new cocktail.

Old Fashioneds are my go to drink, but I had never used rum before. I was AMAZED at how good this was. Tried it because it is aged in bourbon barrels and if you like whiskey like I do, this will shock you
