Our award-winning dark rum brings together four Caribbean traditions—8-year-old Barbadian, Dominican, and Trinidadian column still rums and a Jamaican pot still selection. Aged in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, it unfolds with notes of baking spice, vanilla, caramel, and roasted nuts, brightened by citrus, orchard fruit, and a touch of earth. Nuances of tobacco and cedar add depth, while refreshing acidity and a smooth finish give balance. With no added sugar, its oily, full mouthfeel and moderate-plus body make it beautifully suited for sipping, sharing, and elevating any cocktail.

    This was a very delicious Rum! I am normally a bourbon girl, but this rum is perfect in an old fashioned. Oak & Vanilla notes that will definitely attract a bourbon drinker. Glad I know I can drink rum now.

    I have enjoyed the entire bottle over several weeks and have strictly compared it to my favorites rums and my initial assessment still holds true: Wow.

    It’s really a nine and a half, but only because the Reserve is truly exceptional.

    The nose is as billed: banana peels, spices, fruit and toffee. One the palate it has a great mouth feel with hints of vanilla and continued mild spices. It has a wonderful crisp finish with no unwanted surprises.

    This is a wonderful addition to my stable.
