Add all room temperature ingredients to a mug. Top with Hot Water. Stir with a Bar Spoon. Garnish with Dried Citrus
*Homemade Sorrel Syrup
Combine 1 cup Sugar, 1 cup Water, 1/2 cup Dried Sorrel (Hibiscus) Flowers, 1 Cinnamon Stick, 6 Allspice Berries, and 1 tbsp Fresh Diced Ginger in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cool to room temperature and strain. Keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Passionfruit is one of my favorite cocktail ingredients! Whenever I see it on a menu I order it or Chinola as made it so easy for me to now enjoy at home. This recipe inspired by the Caribbean is the perfect amount of citrus and sour served warm which just offers an extra comfort. I highly recommend this aromatic cocktail (and it has vitamin c to boot).
